What skills will my child learn?
Using gamification techniques learners will unlock new challenges as their skills develop and uncover missions around core aquatic skills, swimming strokes, and water safety milestones.
Now your little one is really showing off their strength. They’ll learn to push off from the wall on their front and back, working on that important streamlining. They will also gain confidence to swim without trying to touch the floor or using any floats, and we’ll develop their independence more so they’re able to swim longer distances.
They’ll learn how to swim down to the pool floor and pick up an object, and will be able to sit and dive into the water independently and swim using their awesome technique. We’ll teach them how to perform a roly-poly in the water, that long-term could become a fancy tumble-turn!
Through Echo school, we’ll work on their language skills and we’ll encourage them to discuss their favourite activities. And now, not only can they save themselves, but they’ll also be able to demonstrate how to help a friend in danger and recognise the safety flags at the beach.
So not only will they be super little swimmers, but they will have learnt lots of skills to prepare them for school and their confidence will be boundless graduating Water Babies as the newest members of our Swimvincibles.

Age 0-1
Baby Swimming
From your very first lesson, baby’s will start to build a strong foundation in swimming – supporting their key developmental milestones, promoting movement, confidence, and safety.
Age 1-2
Toddler Swimming
Toddlers will embark on an immersive swimming journey, building confidence through play, activities and imaginative challenges as they develop their swimming skills.
Age 2-3
Toddler & preschool swimming
Children aged 2-3 build strength and independence in swimming, growing their water confidence to perfect their core aquatic skills and swimming strokes.
Age 3-4
Early years swimming
Children aged 3-4 refine their swimming techniques, build endurance and gain confidence in the water as they progress to independent swimming at their own pace.
Age 4+
Child swimming
Children aged 4+ will swim strong and stay safe as they become more independent and adventurous as they graduate our Water Babies program and join our Swimvincible program. Click to explore more.
Age 4-8+
Swimming solo
Children aged 4+ will swim strong and stay safe as they become more independent and explore swimming without parents in the pool to start a new aquatic adventure.
Age 7-9+
Swimming confident
Children aged 7+ will build on technique and endurance as they become confident swimmers, from water safety to strokes.
Ages 8+
Swimming strong
Children will become swimming legends as they achieve their Treasures, concentrate on swimming distances and techniques, ready to explore water in more depth.

How our Water Babies lessons work
Supportive lessons
With a maximum of 10 babies, a carer per child and one of our teachers in the pool in each lesson.
30 minutes long
Lessons take place each week, so it’s a wonderful way to bond with your baby away from the craziness of life.
Tailored Progress
Our teachers will tailor each lesson to your baby’s ability, so it’s only when they’re ready, we’re ready.
Have fun
